Before and After: Adirondack Chairs

Last summer I was drooling over images of colorful adirondack chairs from around the web.

I really wanted a pair for my patio, but couldn't justify the cost. When I mentioned this on Facebook, a friend of mine commented that she just happened to have two adirondack chairs she was about to get rid of! I happily took them off her hands.

They were pretty beat up and sat outside my house all winter long- further adding to the poor condition.

However, since they aren't wood, I didn't have to do any sanding...I just spray painted the crap out of them! It may have taken four cans of spray paint, but I covered those babies with a beautiful Bahama blue. The paint filled in the scratches and worn places and now they look brand new.

I'm in love.
