Tippy Toes

I can't believe how fast my little one is growing. Next on my list to do is potty training {insert silent scream here} I've decided to make the bathroom a little bit more child-friendly. Little E is very independent and the more things I can allow her to do herself, the easier potty training will be (I hope!).

My first project was this little step stool:

I found it at a yard sale for $1. Took it home, removed the top portion and painted the bottom with some of my Glidden True Turquoise paint. Then I sanded down the top and stained it a walnut brown.

For the letters I painted some contact paper with the same True Turquoise paint, printed letters off my computer and cut them out of the contact paper. I stuck the letters on and covered it all with two coats of polyurethane.

I love the results.

So does little E.

  1. Love it! It looks so amazing! It makes me want one of my own...would you ship one to Texas for me? ;)

  2. Just a quick note to let you know that a link to this post will be placed on CraftCrave today [20 Aug 01:00am GMT]. Thanks, Maria
