Step One: Painted the top my sister's favorite color of green
Step Two: Traced and cut letters of different fonts out of contact paper
Step Three: Stuck all of my cut letters and some letter stickers all over the table top in a random pattern
Step Four: Sprayed the entire table with a few coats of glossy black paint
Step Five: Removed the stickers and contact paper when the paint was still a little wet

(hahaha, get it? fun+spunky=funky. Wow, I'm writing this post WAY too late tonight)
I'm also giving her a beautiful flower headband from my Etsy shop.
Happy Birthday Sista!
Very cute, I'm sure your sister will love it! Girlfriend... you need to get yourself a Cricut!!!!! If you get that and the program "Sure Cuts A Lot", you can cut ANY font, ANY shape, etc. that you want, directly on the vinal. I can even tell you where to get vinyl really cheap! That cutting stuff out by hand is for the birds!!! (That table was a true labor of love!!)
ReplyDeletei wish i was your sister...
ReplyDeleteI am the luckiest sister in the world, I know. My ABC table TOTALLY rocks and my new rosette headband adds that dash of "pretty n' pink" every girls needs in her birthday outfit.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anna Rose!
