Blank Wall Solutions

I have a huge blank wall in our master bedroom that screams at me on a daily basis to cover its nakedness. Only problem is the HORRENDOUS creative block I'm having with that empty space.

However, I'm seriously considering doing one of these:

They give a detailed description of where to purchase each wall treatment, but I am thinking all of these are TOTALLY DIY-able. What do you think?

  1. LOOOOVE the tree. I don't know how you'd do that unless you have one of those projectors to draw the design on the wall first. And I don't. *sigh*

A friend of mine as the wallflowers -- they're totally cute decorating that awkward diagonal wall space along the stairs. :)

  2. i agree that you could make some of these for sure.
i've been wanting to do the "turn any fabric into wallpaper with cornstarch" thing. did a test and it works, just need to choose a fabric and a shaped design :)

  5. I think I can't wait for you to figure out a turorial so I can cover the wall in my master bedroom as well (took things that were there b/c I was afraid of them coming off in an earthquake and knocking us out).
