Heart Shaped Crust

In honor of Love Day, I'm making Mr. How-To Gal a heart shaped pizza and thought I'd share how I make the crust. Now, I don't post many recipes on this blog, because, let's face it...I'm no cook...BUT I can make a mean homemade pizza.

What you need:
  • 7-8 Frozen Rhodes Rolls (more rolls=bigger pizza)
  • A small handful of flour
  • Rolling pin
  • Pizza cutter or knife
  • Toppings

Let's Get Started!

I first thaw my Rhodes rolls according to the back of the package and then combine into a big ball of dough

Then I roll the dough flat into a circle. Normally, I would stop here, but for Love Day, bear with the next few steps :)

I carefully fold the dough in half just like a piece of paper

Then I use the pizza cutter to make a half heart shape (kinda like making a heart out of a piece of card stock, no?)

Finally, carefully unfold your dough revealing a perfectly symmetrical dough-y heart!

Toppings may vary. Then pop in the oven for 12 minutes and you have a delicious and somewhat romantic meal. well as romantic as a pizza can be :)

  1. We actually accidentally made a heart-shaped pizza on our first love day together. It was supposed to be a circle, but...
