Lets get started!
- Earring post and backs (found in the jewelry aisle at any craft store)
- Hot glue
Cut off the button's back and filed it down as low as I could to make a flat surface.
Hot glued a piece of cardboard over the remnants of the button's back. Then hot glued the earring post to the piece of cardboard. You don't necessarily have to use cardboard, I just did to ensure that the earring post has a stable, flat surface. Besides, no one is going to see that part of the earring but you!
Cleaned up the back of the earring, sterilized the post and Wha La, funky earrings for nothing.
I ended up making two other pairs since the process was so simple and easy!
